Frank Silva interview
Interwiev with Frank Silva aka Bob from the Twin Peaks Series
(1993)
Question: How did you become BOB on Twin Peaks?
Frank Silva: It was an accident. ...
David Lynch's casting policy in this case and everything else he does and how he does it reminds me of good old Max Ernst's statement:
"All good ideas arrive by chance"

boomboxes
"This is our homage to some of the greatest and most innovative portable stereos of all time, a Ghettoblaster Hall of Fame. Hallmarks of quality and innovation in the portable stereo world. You will not find anything comparable in today's price-conscious and disposable marketplace, they are but fading memories of another time. Limited production and heavy price tags made many of these stereos exotic even in their heyday. While there's no substitute for the real deal, we hope you enjoy a virtual tour of some of the coolest stereos of all time."

178 people
We're All Gonna Die - 100 meters of existence
by Simon Högsberg:
This image is 100 meters long
There are 178 people in this picture
all shot in the course of 20 days
from the same spot on a railroad bridge
on Warschauer Strasse
in Berlin in the summer 2007
A fantastic representation of some of Berlin's inhabitants and their diversity (literally wide-range)
Look out for the twin-right-eye-patch and the broken hand - peace!

reverse graffiti
Pictures above:
Brazilian Alexandre Orion, turned one of Sao Paolo’s transport tunnels into a stunning mural. The mural, comprised of a series of skulls, very succinctly reminds drivers of the impact their emissions are having on the planet.
A number of street artists around the world have taken to expressing themselves through an innovative practice known as Reverse Graffiti. Taking a cue from the “Wash Me” messages scrawled on the back of delivery trucks, they seek out soot covered surfaces and inscribe them with images, tags, and even advertising slogans using scrub brushes, scrapers and pressure hoses or chemicals.

Speaking of advertising: The following video is quite interesting and nice but very disappointing at the same time since it seems to be an ad for some new green cleaner called "Clorox's Green Works". (the company's logo shows up in the end)
This video: sad and sell-out? ...or all good and green? - you decide

The Pac-Man Dossier - Chapter 5: "Deciphering The Splitscreen"
"Pac-Man was always meant to be a game with no ending. The developers at Namco mistakenly assumed the game's increasing difficulty was sufficient to prevent anyone from playing indefinitely."
